Hides and skins exports presented by SECEX (Foreign Trade Secretariat) for the month of July 2015 registered a value of US$ 184.167 million, which means a decrease of 26% over the same month last year, when exports totaled US$ 249.027 million. It was also a decrease of 6.2% compared to the previous month, when value was US$ 196.292.

As for the amount of hides, considering only the cattle hides, in July it was shipped 2.343 million pieces, less 12.9% compared to June, when total was 2.691 million.
