Until Friday the 12th the Natuzzi Congress will be taking place at the Natuzzi factory in Salvador, Bahia, where the group's newest furniture collections will be presented to investors, shopkeepers, architects, designers, and the press. This opportunity marks the Brazilian launch of the Collezione Ginga Natuzzi Editions for DNP — a collection of Design na Pele that united work from three Brazilian tanneries and three design studios to the Italian leather furniture brand.

Design na Pele is part of Brazilian Leather — a Brazilian promotional project conducted by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry(CICB) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). This edition has the support of the Raiz project, an internationalization project for furniture designers conducted by the Furniture Industry Union of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) in partnership with Apex-Brasil to encourage the participation of Brazilian signature furniture design in international markets.

The Natuzzi Congress has an extensive technical and social program scheduled with guided tours of the factory, showrooms, and specific moments for conducting business. Rafael Andrade, curator of Design na Pele, explains that after the launch of Collezione Ginga Natuzzi Editions for DNP in May, in New York, the pieces were sent directly to Brazil for this event. After Salvador, they go on to be launched throughout Europe.

Collezione Ginga Natuzzi Editions for DNP has the tanneries Luiz Fuga, Gobba Leather, and Indústria de Peles Minuano as protagonists. The design studios involved were Furf Design Studio, Lattoog, and Bola Studio, working for Italian label Natuzzi Editions with the focus of leather valuation in furniture design.
