Brazilian leather participation in the Première Vision Paris fair always generates high expectations, and it's no wonder. Brazil has already been awarded among the best materials at the fair, Brazilian tanneries are invariably in the trend selection event and, last year, Design na Pele display was one of the great attractions at the Parc des Expositions Paris Nord Villepinte. Now, in the next edition of Première Vision from September 19th to the 21st, the leather market will see Brazilian releases for winter collections with the participation of three national tanneries and an additional special attraction: an exclusive presentation on Brazilian leather in the fair's sustainability and innovation space.

The participation of Brazilian tanneries at Première Vision Paris is supported by the Brazilian Leather Project, an initiative of the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) for leather growth  in foreign markets.

One of the companies that will be at Première Vision is Curtume Rusan. Camila Koefender, Rusan's director, emphasizes the importance of being at this fair, since in addition to the possibility of finding new customers and making new contacts: "It allows us to see the market scenario as a whole. It also helps us greatly in what will be the next season's trend in our domestic market. "

Institutionally, Brazil participates in this edition of Première Vision with two specific actions: the presentation of the Leather Preview display (with selected hides from various tanneries) and a lecture on Design and Sustainability - An overview on Brazilian Leather Industry protocols. The lecture will be given by Rafael Andrade, CICB's International Strategy, Design and Planning Consultant, on September 20th at noon within the Smart Talks discussion cycle. It will be the moment in which the Première Vision public will be able to better understand the work of partnerships in sustainability, design, and innovation that Brazil's tanneries have realized in the last years, generating results for the entire industry. The lecture is open to all fair visitors and is sure to create a buzz in the Smart Square space where the debate cycle will take place.
