In Design na Pele´s third edition, stylist Ronaldo Fraga (who´s been in charge of the project since the first edition) brought together the aesthetic reference of skateboarding with the durability of leather. The result were sneakers full of colors- including the soles- launched by Kildare, Fraga´s partner in creation.
"Leather has its usual durability, but with the incredible lightness and looks of canvas shoes," says the stylist.
The leathers used are a chapter all their own. In collaboration with leather tanneries Bom Retiro, Curtume Rusan and Curtume Moderno, Fraga used leathers of different origins and textures: Bom Retiro nobuck, Rusan suede and Moderno goat leather.
"The Cabra Rústica goat leather that we developed in this partnership with Kildare and Ronaldo Fraga shows off the rustic nature of the wild west in contrast to the shoes´ modern street style. Together with the lightness and naturalness of the leather it lends extreme comfort and distinction to the final product ", evaluates Rafael Coelho, Curtume Moderno.
