The 3rd CICB Sustainability Forum reveals its attractions, gathering a unique diversity regarding experience, strength and innovation regarding the leather, fashion and design industries. The event presents an entire day of lectures and talks with some of the sector’s major international leaders on themes such as luxury, environment and management, making it a great opportunity to share knowledge, ideas and strategies for the future of the leather industry.

The 3rd CICB Sustainability Forum takes place on August 21st, in Novo Hamburgo (RS), at Fenac Exhibition Centre. As an international event, Portuguese-English simultaneous interpreting will be provided. The 3rd CICB Sustainability Forum is promoted by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB). Co-organization: ABQTIC. Master Sponsorship: JBS Couros. Gold Sponsorship: Stahl, Fenac and Basf. Support: Apex-Brasil, Minerva Leather, AicSul and IBTeC

The attractions at the 3rd forum highlight the dialogue between the everyday routine of companies and professionals, innovative ideas and the world’s most relevant experiences in the field of sustainability. Therefore, the names invited to headline all lectures and panels create an unprecedented and rich set of content, gathering entrepreneurs connected to the tanning industry (Roberto Motta, from JBS Couros, and Cezar Müller, from A.P. Müller), researchers (Rosa Alegria, Master of Science in Foresight, and Brigitte Wegner, Doctor of Chemistry) and process managers (David Fernandes, from Tannery Coming, Bill Amberg, designer, and Guy Morgan, from the Sustainable Luxury Working Group).

With a combination of personalities from such distinct and notorious backgrounds, the CICB forum is sure to once again establish itself as the starting point for important discussions that will stimulate a responsible growth within the sector, repeating the success of its first two editions, in 2012 and 2013, when the event was sold out. This year, the 3rd CICB Sustainability Forum converges so that Brazil may establish itself as a definite reference centre for sustainability in the international leather industry.
