To present to the Chinese market differentials in design, technology and innovation of the materials developed by Brazilian companies in the leather and footwear sector. This is the goal of an action promoted by Brazilian Leather and Footwear Components by Brasil – partnerships between the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), the Brazilian Association of Leather, Shoe and Leatherwear Component Companies (Assintecal) and the Brazilian Center of Tannery Industries (CICB) – during the All China Leather Exhibition 2015, between August 31 and September 2, in a space located at Hall E1, booth E27.
"China is the largest market for many companies in the leather, footwear and materials chain. Therefore, ACLE is one of the main fairs in the industry, as it takes place in Shanghai. The idea in this edition of the event is to bring together two large sector entities, CICB and Assintecal to show the strength of the Brazilian industry," says the CEO of CICB, José Fernando Bello.
INSPIRAMAIS
In the space of 60 m², visitors to the All China will see for tje first time a part of the exhibition of the only Materials Design and Innovation Exhibition in Latin America. Curated by the stylist and coordinator of the Design Center of Assintecal, Walter Rodrigues, Inspiramais is organized by Footwear Components by Brazil and Brazilian Leather through a partnership between Apex-Brasil, Assintecal and CICB.
“We are pleased for the opportunity to present our quality and design of Brazilian raw materials during the All China, which is one of the leading trade shows in the world. Each of the projects presented within the Inspiramais space will certainly show visitors our researches, strategies and differentials that can add even more value to the final product for any manufacturer worldwide, "says William Marcelo Nicolau, president of Assintecal.
Ecodesign is a project that is part of Inspiramais and will be at the All China. Coordinated by the stylist Isabella Capet, the project aims to develop lower environmental impact leathers for the leather and footwear sectors, where vegetable tannins, water based solvents and chrome free products are used. Ecodesign promotes the use of exotic and cattle leathers created from vegetable tannins and presented in footwear and accessories prototypes, based on the concept of lower environmental impact and better use of available raw materials.
Also at Inspiramais space, the exhibition Summer 2016 Inspiration Forum will take place, which is curated by Walter Rodrigues and brings the end result of an intense research and development work, aimed to guide entrepreneurs in the production of components for leather, shoe and leatherwear components which stand out for their design and innovation.
A project that instigates the creation of products with a look at the cultural and social references of Brazil is the Brazilian References, which uses influences such as music, dance, folk festivals, food, architecture, furniture, nature, ethnic origins and crafts in manufacturing components for leather, shoe and leatherwear for winter 2016. Based on different elements collected in the researches, it is possible to develop a new design for materials, which originate collections to inspire footwear, accessories and clothing.
In an anticipation of the Summer 2017, Preview do Couro (Leather Preview) brings a selection of hides developed by 17 tanneries guided by stylist Walter Rodrigues and designer Marnei Carminatti, with the collaboration of leather expert Ramon Oliveira Soares. This preview shows the colors and textures that will be most sought after by the footwear, handbags, accessories and apparel industries for the development of fashion products in 2017.
