Brazilian Exports of hides and skins disclosed ​​by SECEX (Foreign Trade Secretariat), for the month of April 2013, showed not only an overshoot in the value achieved in the same month last year and compared to March this year, but also record values. The country only had overcome the barrier of US$ 200 million in May 2011. In April, the total reached US$ 218,438 million, therefore an increase of 24.6% compared to April 2012, whose value was US$ 175,330 million, an increase of 14.1% compared to March 2013, whose value was US$ 191,490 million.
