Exports of Hides and Skins presented by SECEX (Foreign Trade Secretariat), for the month of July 2014, showed a value of US$ 249.027 million, which means an increase of 26.0% over the same month of the year past, when US$ 197.637 million were exported. Compared to June 2014, it is an increase by 1.2% when total exported was US$ 245.983 million.

Regarding the quantity of hides, considering only the cattle hides, in July were shipped 2.849 million units, an increase of 13.4% compared to July 2013, when total was 2.513 million.
