Both participants and the international specialized media celebrated the results of the most recent edition of Lineapelle, in Milian. Taking place between September 20th and 22nd, the renowned leather exhibition should generate around US$ 10 million in business within the next few months for the five Brazilian companies who showcased their articles at the event with support from Brazilian Leather, project coordinated by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) for the promotion of leather exports.

Elton Haubert, international market manager at Courovale, highlights that this edition of Lineapelle was a very positive surprise. “We welcomed clients already established in the United States, Korea, China, and France, as well as a several contacts with future buyers from the European market”, he says. According to Paulo Amaury, director at Nova Kaeru, in comparison to other events this year Lineapelle brought the highest number of visitors to the company’s stand. Specialized in special skins, Nova Kaeru saw a significant number of buyers from the US and Japan. “We were able to meet again clients from different continents, consolidating partnerships and opening new business perspectives. I believe it was a good closure for a tight year in terms of trade fairs”, he adds.
