Registrations for the CICB Productivity Meeting are already open. The event takes place on March 16th at Fenac, in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, alongside the 40th edition of Fimec (the International Trade-fair for Leather, Chemical Products, Components, Machines, and Equipment for Footwear and Tanneries).

People interested in participating in the Meeting should register online at www.meeting.cicb.org.br

Registrations cost R$30,00 for associates of CICB (Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry); Aicsul (Association of the Tannery Industries of Rio Grande do Sul); Abqtic (the Brazilian Association of Leather Industry Technicians and Chemists); Abrameq (Brazilian Association of Machinery and Equipment Industries for Leather, Footwear and Allied Trades) and Assintecal (the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods). For non-members, the investment is of R$50,00.

The CICB Productivity Meeting is an initiative of CICB. It’s is supported by Aicsul and Abqtic. Its objective is to debate themes such as technology, innovation and efficient management within the leather and footwear production chain.

The event’s program features two lectures and a round table.

Partner at McKinsey & Company,Pedro Guimarães will host the talk ‘Leverage and Programs of Economic Developments for Brazil’. Responsible for the Global Business Development at Lectra’s automotive leather market, Roy Shurling will discuss the ‘Benefits of Digitalization in the Leather Production Chain’. On the round table, the event presents Sebrae’s technical director Heloísa Menezes.
